Poetry, Prose, & Peonies

Hey there!

My name is Gabby and I’m recent graduate of the University of Toronto. I studied Professional Writing and Communications, English, and Creative Writing.

Poetry, Prose, and Peonies is inspired by the collection of work I’ve completed during my undergrad.

Much of my creative work revolves around intersectionality, equity, women’s rights, diaspora, horror, the supernatural, magic, and nature. I draw deeply from the romantics and the gothicists; loving deeply, reflecting in nature, but finding the magic in maddening and frightening situations. All of the work completed here is fiction, non-fiction, and creative-non fiction.
