My love for you is an ocean, vast and wide,

Like an ocean, my love runs deep and dark,

In the right conditions, my love can be dangerous.

White-capped tsunami waves crash against each other,

Raging until the morning brings a calm.

When I first met you, you saw my tides.

You say, the storm isn’t dangerous,

“How can a swim harm me?”

My ocean loves you,

My ocean calls to you,

Whispering from the shores,

Don’t be afraid, my love for you is unending.

Please don’t drown in my depths.

Learn to wear a mask.

Don’t forget oxygen.

Your needs and the ocean’s are not the same.

But unprepared,

My love will swallow you.

Be safe,

And know my waves crash for you.

My tides flow to your feet,

A Goddess of Treachery.

My god!

Why have you forsaken me?

My love is an ocean,

Vast and unending,

Deep and broken,

Yet radiant and revered.
